These are unsupported bonus features so, happy mapping!

 

Get a map to a single customer's site:

Pending that your computer is connected to the Internet, you can click the <Map> button above the bill to address block on the Customer form or to the left of the address block on the Contact form.

Map Multiple sites with Sales Information:

  1. Select "Customer List Map" from the <Reports> drop list on the customer or vendor form. 
  2. Preview the report (page w/magnifying glass at upper left)
  3. After confirming that the list of customers is correct, close the report
  4. Click the <Map Customer List> button below the <Reports> drop list
  5. Click inside the addresses box at the center of the batchgeo web page
  6. Press <Ctrl-V> on you keyboard to paste your customer list into the <addresses> box
  7. Click "Map Now" Done!

Great for reviewing a territory.  If you explore batchgeo, you can group your addresses by scrolling down the page and/or save your map as an e-mail a link to send to your Android, iPhone, Winows Mobile, Blackberry phone, or tablet.  Since this includes names, addresses, phone numbers and sales information, this is a valuable tool.

Map the Locations of Customers with Product

  1. On the product form, select a vendor, then select "Customers With Product" from the <Reports> drop list 
  2. Click on a product in the lower half of the form to select it
  3. Preview the report (page w/magnifying glass at upper left)
  4. After confirming that the list of customers is correct, close the report
  5. Click the <Map Customer List> button below the <Reports> drop list
  6. Click inside the addresses box at the center of the batchgeo web page
  7. Press <Ctrl-C> on you keyboard to past your customer list into the addresses box
  8. Click "Map Now" Done!

Map the most efficient drive route for up to 26 locations:

  1. Select "Customer List Route" from the <Reports> drop list on the customer form. 
  2. Preview the report (page w/magnifying glass at upper left).  You may want to print a copy for reference
  3. After confirming that the list of customers is correct, close the report and answer <Yes> to output this list to Excel
  4. Note the file location that you are given or use <Save-As> in Excel to save the file to a familiar location.
  5. Click the <Map Customer List> button below the <Orders List>
  6. Click the <Import Spreadseet> tab on the MapQuest web page
  7. Press <Browse> to locate the file you saved
  8. Click <Upload>
  9. Remove or edit any addresses with a yellow exclamation mark.
  10. Set the appropriate option preference check boxes e.g. <Allow Mapquest to re-order stops> before you click <Get Directions>
