Export A Price List from QuickBooks to BrokerForceŽ

In QuickBooks:

1.   Open the File menu

2.   Select Utilities

3.   Select Export

4.   Select Lists to IIF Files...

5.   Check Item List and click OK

6.   Select a location to save the file

 NOTE: Whenever your QuickBooks Item information changes, re-export this data (create a new Item List export file)

  

Open the IIF file in Excel and save in Excel format (.xls file extension)

 1.Open Excel and open the saved IIF file using the Text Import Wizard in Excel.

2.Choose File > Save As.

3.Click the Save as type drop-down arrow and select Microsoft Office Excel Workbook (*.xls).

4.Change the file name to remove the quotation marks and the IIF file extension. Excel will automatically add the correct .xls file extension.

5.Click Save.

 

Reopen the newly named .xls file in Excel

1.   Delete all the rows above the !INVITEM row for the item lists

2.   Save the file and e-mail it to your rep groups.  They will reward you with greater sales
